OWU OMA AMAKOHIA-UBI 2024

It is obvious and officially that Amakohia-Ubi entirely has two different types of culture, in which we celebrated once in a year.

1. Okoroshi (Owu Oma)
2. Okorosha (Owu Oma)

 TAKE IT!!

(1). The Okoroshi Owu Oma Festival, normally celebrate every June - July in every year. The Owu Oma Festival is being participating by three village in Amakohia-Ubi, which includes Obiokwu Umunjam & Umuike. They celebrated thier culture in their own way according to the rules and regulations of their traditions..

(2). And the Okorosha Owu Oma Festival Celebration, is being celebrate from December to January in every single year. 

The Okorosha Owu Oma Festival, is also being participating by only one village Umuoka in Amakohia-Ubi, they also have their own rules and regulations on how they play thier own tradition. 

This “Okorosha Oma Culture Festival” is one of Umunwoha Ofo Ise culture and tradition, while Amakohia-Ubi also part of Umunwoha, so Umuoka in Amakohia-Ubi has been the only village in Amakohia-Ubi represented Ama-Ubi in times of culture and tradition in Umunwoha levels.

In some months past, the three village in Amakohia-Ubi Umuike, Umunjam & Obiokwu, play thier own scene of reformation of our culture, and we thank God that it ended in praise... 

 HRH EZE SMART NZE AMA-UBI 1 OF AMAKOHIA-UBI AUTONOMOUS COMMUNITY.
Was highly welcome with Nde Nze na Uzor in the occasion. The done their own part of reformation according to how it instructed, we appreciate the three village.

This is the time for Umuoka Owu Oma Festival Reformation to take place, Ama-Ubi is one till tomorrow. Okacity has given date for their own reformation, 28th of December 2024 everyone & every individual of Umunwoha Ofo Ise/Owerri-West are officially invited.
