OWERRI WEST LGA LEADERSHIP INSPECTS ONGOING RURAL ROAD WORKS IN AMAKOHIA-UBI, NDEGWU AND OHII COMMUNITIES
The Owerri West local government, led by the Chairman Hon. Victor Osigwe, has embarked on rural road grading and maintenance in Owerri West LGA.
Hon. Victor Osigwe, represented by the Vice Chairman, Hon. Prince Osinachi Amako (No Vex) and in company of the Majority Leader of the LGA's legislature, Hon. Chigemezu Ejiogu, were in Amakohia-Ubi, Ndegwu and Ohii communities today, Sunday 19th January, 2025, for inspection of the road works being executed by the local government.
In Amakohia-Ubi community, they were received by the community's President General (PG), Hon. John Chukwuma Nneji, and speaking about the ongoing road works in various rural areas in Owerri West of Imo State, the Vice Chairman stated that Hon. Victor Osigwe (Ikeoha) is a leader who believes in action, in his words "Hon. Chairman is an action-oriented leader and the road works are part of the responsibilities of the local government for rural areas development".
Equally, the LGA Majority Leader, Hon. Chigemezu Ejiogu in his speech sought for support and cooperation for the Owerri West LGA leadership, as this will encourage the leadership to do more. He commended the Vice Chairman, Hon. Prince Osinachi Amako (No Vex) for his dedication and sense of duty in Owerri West LGA.
